JIS Email Policy
- JIS uses email to contact its students who have registered for its
online courses. Emails include
- weekly class emails during courses
- a single post-course solicitation for donations and survey request
- semiannual notices to all past and current students announcing JIS'
new semester of courses.
- JIS does not disclose your email address to any 3rd parties.
- All students in a current course must receive email from
JIS. Students that do not wish to receive email from JIS during a
course will not be able to continue in the course.
- To end enrollment in a course (before the end of a course), students
should contact the JIS office. Students must include the email address
used to register for the course, as well as the name of the course.
- Once a course has concluded, students may
contact the JIS office
stating that they no longer wish to receive any email from JIS.
- JIS does not send email to users of AOL.com. Please use a
different email address, or sign up for a free email account at Google,
Yahoo or Hotmail.
