Pre-course Information Packet

The High Holiday Handbook is divided into four independent sections, each of which can be accessed from the course Home Page. Course files are called "Modules."
  1. Weekly Focus Section - Each week, we will explore a different issue relating to the High Holiday period. Several questions appear at the end of each weekly module, which you have the option of responding to and receiving a personal response.
  2. Themes Section - Chronological arrangement of many of the themes of the High Holiday period - beginning with the month preceding Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur.
  3. Laws & Customs Section - Chronological arrangement of many of the laws and customs of the High Holiday period - beginning with the month preceding Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur.
  4. Prayers Section - An explanation of select prayers from the High Holidays prayer book
