Course Objectives

  • To study classical Jewish sources as they relate to the Chanukah holiday
  • To present the historical and philosophical background to the events of the Chanukah story
  • To show how the laws and customs of the Chanukah holiday reflect the meaning of the holiday
   

Course Schedule

5 week duration. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 - Thursday, December 9, 2010. Each Wednesday, new course material will be posted on-line and remain available for the duration of the course.
